About Me

Hello!

I'm Jessica. I am a wife/mom/neurodivergent/ADHD/all star when it comes to being a disorganized hot mess.

My son Eli is Autistic, in sped PreK at our local elementary school, attends OT/PT privately, and his “transition to kindergarten” meeting is coming up in March. I told my husband I was starting to gear up for it now, and he asked why. I said so that I can do my part in setting him up for success starting now, and be prepared for changes in the future.

My daughter Abigail is almost 10, and I’ve been homeschooling her. Upon evaluating for OT it was discovered in separate screeners that she shows strong signs of dyslexia and anxiety issues. So we are currently on waiting lists to have her officially evaluated so that I can start the needed process for when she heads back to public school in August. It’s what she wants, and I know she can do this if we can get an IEP evaluation and put it in place.

My husband works long hours as the general manager for a multi-trade company. So it’s me trying to keep the wheels turning for everything else it feels like. Thankfully he is a great father and husband. I wouldn’t trade him for the world, even on the days he makes my eyes twitch ha ha.
