About Me

Hello everyone,

My name is Melike, I am a mother of two boys 16 and 12.

Originally, we are from Turkey and now we live in Doylestown for next hopefully 5-7 years.

We moved to US during summer 2022 from Belgium where we spent last 7 years.

My 12 year old son has multiple disabilities, here in CBSD he went through evaluation upon our initiation and his findings were, ADHD, SLD and Speech/Language Impairment. He has 12 years old, but mentally, socially,  and academically he is lagging couple of years behind his age group. 

I join this group to be better informed about EIP process and learn how to advocate for my son. 

Looking forward to positive exchange with the group and to learn from you all.
