My name is Carol I worked for 21 years in the healthcare field, 16 of those were with an organization that provides services to patients individuals with different abilities (aka disabilities). For about 6 of those years I was a service plan coordinator and the person who scheduled, facilitated and recorded the written ITM (Individualized Team Meeting) the adult version of the IEP.  Now one of my grandchildren is in Pre-K and I am trying to help my daughter navigate the school district and their special education program. I’m hoping these forums and Lisa trainings and posts will get us on the right track. So far I’ve learned a lot!
