About Me

I am a 20 year veteran of the United States Navy.  My role in the military was Electronics Technician where I earned my bachelors in Electronics Engineering and masters in project management.  I spent 12 years of that time as an instructor and 3 years outside the military as a senior technical trainer for the semiconductor industry.  My son was diagnosed with severe autism spectrum disorder at three years old.  Because I didn't want an advocate representing my son, I learned how to be an effective advocate instead.  Now I help other kids and parents in the form of advocacy, but provide a comprehensive analysis of IEPs, BIPs, Healthcare & Seizure Plans, and identify limiting abnormalities within a child's IEP that could potentially harm their education progress.  These were skills I developed from various experiences that I used for my son bringing him from a non-verbal situation to freely speaking what he wants to do.  My wife was instrumental in his progress has she spent the time to reinforce his goals at home, monitor ABA progress, and voice her concerns during IEP Team meetings.  It truly takes the right team to make a difference in a disabled child's life.
