About Me

I am. the parent of 2 adult children and in retirement my husband and I adopted 2 children through the foster system. Both of our kids are on the Autism Spectrum, level 2 and ADHD. I am an active board member of a non-profit agency that provides birthday gifts, Christmas gifts, Welcome bags and regular giveaways to kids in foster care in San Diego County. We also provide support to foster parents. I grew up in England and married an American and immigrated to the USA. I love advocating for my kids and other kids and parents who need help. I have spent all of my working years in health care. I started out as a nurse in the UK and became a dietitian in the USA.
