I'm a mom of two adoptive girls who are biological sisters. Over the past four and a half years we've had a lot of challenges. This year we've stepped into the next step of challenges. I've got one in Elementary School and one in Middle School. Both of them have 504 Plans, but were denied IEP Plans. We are unhappy with these decisions and are planning on appealing. Both girls need a lot more than they are getting and we're upset that after all of our persistence they still are not getting the services they need. I'm very frustrated and could use the support of other parents who have been down this path.
