About Me

Hi, I’m Krystal! I’m an educational advocate with a background in elementary education, behavior analysis, and special education. As a former teacher and behavior therapist, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges families face when navigating the IEP and 504 processes.

My passion for advocacy grew when I went through this journey with my own child. I know how overwhelming and emotional it can be to fight for the support your child deserves. That’s why I started Specialized Student Allies—to help parents feel confident, informed, and empowered in their child’s education.
