I am the mom to an amazing 8 year old boy who has struggled since the moment he was born. He has a few diagnoses (Developmental Coordination Disorder, STAG1 related disorder, Developmental Delay) and I’m trying to prepare myself for a likely Intellectual Disability coding on his upcoming re-eval. I have had to fight with the school district, catch their mistakes and call them out on them, and advocate hard for my son since he was 3.
