About Me

I'm a mom of 2 boys in Massachusetts, the youngest, currently 10 y.o., was diagnosed with Autism (level 1) & ADHD (inattentive type) in 2023 by a hospital Neurologist. He attends public school with an IEP in place, as he struggles with fine motor development which affects his handwriting. He has difficulty staying focused at home & at school. Socially, he tends to follow his peers rather than lead & he doesn't always respond to social cues in ways others can expect. He picks up math concepts quickly & easily...numbers are an academic strength. He was a happy baby, toddler & now kid. He's very sensitive to others feelings & will often tears-up himself if/when someone close to him becomes upset. He's very loving & snuggly still at home but recently stopped holding my hand when at his school :( We're happy with his IEP team at school, not so much with how admin runs the SPED program though.
